About Your Provider
Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
“I believe people are capable of growth, healing, and change with the right support and tools. My goal is to help patients feel more confident, supported, and able to keep moving forward through life’s challenges.”
— Ciara McGann, Founder
I started my career in mental health almost 7 years ago as a psychiatric nurse, working in inpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, and residential treatment before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Now I work outpatient as a prescriber, helping children, teens, and adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, panic attacks, mood disorders, and more.
I love thinking outside the box and building strong connections with therapists, IEP advocates, coaches, schools, and other supports that can truly help patients succeed. I’m very open-minded in my approach and believe there’s never one single answer for everyone. I do not judge, and I want patients to feel comfortable being honest about what they’re going through.
Mental health affects every part of our lives — relationships, school, work, confidence, motivation, sleep, physical health, and how we see ourselves. Our brains and bodies are deeply connected, which is why I believe treatment should look at the full picture, not just symptoms alone.
I’m especially passionate about working with youth and young adults because I truly believe our youth are our future. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where people can be themselves, feel understood, and have honest conversations about what they’re going through.
Testimonials
She was thorough. Great listener. I feel like we were able to discuss the issue I'm having and get a good plan together very quickly.
